It is our privilege to be a premier provider of healthcare services to the people of Southern Nevada and Western Arizona since 1971. At Desert Springs Hospital we focus on quality, compassionate and family-centered care and offer a wide range of services and advanced equipment to care for you and your family. Our goal is to be the hospital of choice.
As you browse our website, you'll notice that our services include cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, inpatient and outpatient diabetes services, general surgery, stroke care, bariatric surgery, emergency medicine, wound care, a sleep center and more. Many of these services are nationally accredited or certified by independent organizations that set the bar on quality care. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and have earned many certifications from this organization: We are the first in the nation to be certified for our advanced inpatient diabetes care; designated as a primary stroke center, and the first in Nevada to attain heart failure certification. Additionally we are the first in Nevada to have an accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers and our bariatric program is designated as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Our Diabetes Treatment Center is recognized by the American Diabetes Association and accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators for its self-management education.
There are more than 1,200 employees, 1,100 active, courtesy and consulting physicians on staff and more than 300 volunteers at Desert Springs Hospital who are experienced and trained to meet the healthcare needs of you and your family.
We welcome you to visit our hospital to learn more about how we can help you maintain good health.
Sincerely,
Sam Kaufman
