Due to the fast-growing Hispanic population in Southern Nevada, and particularly the area directly surrounding Desert Springs Hospital, we are pleased to announce we are in the midst of developing a Multicultural Institute of Medicine within our facility.
The new program will involve a variety of practical and culture changes and additions within the hospital setting such as:
Access to bilingual staff throughout the hospital process, such as the admitting department, nursing and ancillary staff
Spanish-language collateral materials, hospital signage and Web site information
Enhanced menu selections
Spanish television programming
