Gift Shop

Desert Springs Hospital offers a variety of special services to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. These special services include the following:

Gift Shop
The gift shop is located past the main lobby on the first floor of the hospital. The gift shop has a selection of cards, flowers, candy, gifts, as well as newspapers and magazines for purchase. Please check with the nurse before giving a patient any food or candy.

The Gift Shop hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:30am-8:00pm
Wednesday, Friday 7:30am-7:00pm
Saturday 8:30am-7:00pm
Sunday 8:30am-6:00pm

Pastoral Care
Patient visitations with clergy, and a complete clergy listing, can be arranged by calling 369-7669 or 369-7528. The hospital also offers a "Quiet Room," located near the cafeteria, where books on spiritual healing and guidance are available.

Library Cart
A library cart, featuring both books and magazines, is brought to patient rooms by hospital volunteers.

Interpreters
Interpreters are available. Hearing impaired patients should notify hospital personnel immediately if they need a sign language interpreter.
