Visitor Information

Visiting Hours Visiting hours provide the staff time to care for our patients and time for patients to rest. However, if the established times pose a problem for you, the Nurse Manager on each unit may be able to assist in providing alternative times. Children under 12 years of age are not allowed on the floors. Limiting the number of visitors to two at a time provides a more comfortable environment for everyone. Visiting hours are as follows:
ICU/CCU: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Maximum of two visitors at a time. Fresh flowers not permitted in ICU/CCU.
Surgical Unit, Intermediate Care Unit, Medical Units: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Main entrance doors open at 5 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. After 8 p.m., visitors must use the Emergency entrance. Plaza II main entrance closes at 6:30 p.m. After 6:30 p.m., visitors must use the southwest back entrance.
Gift Shop The Gift Shop is located in our main lobby on the first floor. The Gift Shop has a selection of cards, flowers, candy and assorted gifts, as well as books and magazines for purchase. The Gift Shop is managed by the hospital's Volunteer Auxiliary which donates funds to local charities, organizations and sponsors the employee scholarship program. The Gift Shop hours are: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday – Sunday, 8 a.m. to Noon
Note: There are times where hours may vary based on volunteer availability. Pastoral Care A hospital stay can affect more than your physical well-being — it can affect your emotional, social and spiritual well-being, as well. We have "quiet rooms" available in the hospital, a chapel on the second floor and a healing garden off the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit. Books on spiritual healing and guidance are available, as well as other uplifting reading materials. Volunteers can assist in scheduling patient visitations with clergy. A listing of clergy is located at the Guest Services desk.
Interpreters We realize many of our patients and visitors speak languages other than English, so we are happy to provide interpreters when needed. Interpreters are available in-house or through Cyracom language services, which offers interpretation for more than 150 languages and dialects. Hearing impaired patients should notify hospital personnel immediately if they need a sign language interpreter.
